It appears that any nerves Khloe Kardashian had when she started presenting the X Factor USA with co-host Mario Lopez, have gone after she boldly decided to get close to boss and head judge Simon Cowell by sitting on his lap.


Dressed in a tight white dress, the reality TV star made her way to the judges table on last night's show where she proceeded to perch her behind on Simon's lap.

Referring to American Idol host and Kardashian family friend Ryan Seacrest, Khloe told the media mogul, who appeared to be in need of some air conditioning:

"I was told by Mr Seacrest that if I sit on your lap it would make you very excited.

"Are you too excited to introduce the next act?"

Responding to Khloe's proactive question, Simon whose face resembled the colour of a tomato, said:

"I’m kind of getting there yeah."

Picking up on Simon's red hue, fellow judge Demi Lovato asked: "Why are you so red?". Not able to deny it, Simon replied: "I’m finding this quite difficult but I’m enjoying it."
