Chris Brown Must Stay On Probation Until After European Tour Over Rihanna Assault |
The 'Don't Judge Me' hitmaker feared that the probation against him, which was served after his assault on then-girlfriend Rihanna in 2009, would hinder his plans to begin a trek across Europe, but a judge has now given him permission to leave the US.
Superior Court Judge Patricia Schnegg allowed Chris to travel outside the country but said he must remain on probation until after the tour is over when they will review his situation.
Brown "appears to be making a sincere effort to comply with terms and conditions of probation," a probation officer wrote in a report. While he has made sure to abide by the conditions of his probation, Chris was given a talking to during the hearing this week when he attempted to interrupt, his lawyer Mark Geragos scolded: "I don't dance, you don't talk."

The singer attended Rihanna's party at the Greystone Manor nightclub in LA, dressed in a terrorist outfit accompanied by a group of friends also wearing similar attire. Fans have expressed their outrage over Chris' insensitivity, but his mother Joyce defended him saying it was all in the spirit of Halloween.
"Halloween is for fun, nothing more than just fun. Get a life please... So does this mean when we dress our kids as Satan we glorifying him or (is) it just out of fun?... Keep smiling angel," Joyce tweeted.
Chris and Rihanna were rumored to have gone public with their alleged romance at the Halloween party, and while they both partied inside the venue, they avoided walking the red carpet together.
