Twitter Users React To Lil Reese Assaulting Young Woman In Video

BHR HollyWood Reports Ever since footage of Chicago rapper Lil Reese physically assaulting a young woman at a house party leaked onto the web, Twitter has been on fire with a barrage of mixed reactions from fans who have been pouring in their thoughts on the graphic video.
Twitter Users React To Lil Reese Assaulting Young Woman In Video

Lil Reese, a member of Chief Keef's GBE clique, is seen in the cellphone footage becoming embroiled in a heated argument with a female, before it heightens to the point he is seen punching, slapping, and stomping on the young woman.

The Def Jam rapper, who's name has been trending on Twitter after the clip was released, took to the social-networking site to address the video, but instead of apologizing, offered up this tweet:

''The haters tryna see a mf Dwn lol Dey gotta b broke and bored wanna upload sum sh-- from years ago.''

As the clip has been circulating, fans have continued to weigh in on Twitter, many branding his move ''career suicide,'' some admitting that they will no longer support his music, others shockingly attempting to justify his actions by claiming him hailing from Chicago (where the murder rate is high) is to blame.

Whilst some fans seemed to stick up for him: ''@Benzino: Soooooo what lil reese did was wrong?''

Others expressed their disgust: ''@Beauty_OMG: I can't believe these boys tryna justify Lil Reese beating that girl up. What if that was your sister, daughter, or mom??''

Even 97 host/DJ Peter Rosenberg wrote: ''@Rosenberg radio: If this lil reese clown is not finished in this biz - we have a problem.''

Despite some fans even going as far as comparing Lil Reese's actions to Chris Brown's infamous 2009 assault on then-girlfriend Rihanna, as well as Chad Occhochino head-butting Evelyn Lozada, others confessed the Chi-town star's post-attitude was far worse:

''@thebenjimusic: You can't compare Lil Reese's situation to Chris Browns. Chris has apologized and changed. Lil Reese had no remorse and made jokes about it.''
