Mystikal Explains Why He Picked Young Money Over 50 Cent

BHR HollyWood Reports  has revealed that he couldn't been signed on 50 Cent's record label instead of Young Money.

The 'Shake Ya A**' rapper said in an interview with Thisis50.com that he was in talks with 50 Cent before closing a deal with Young Money.

"It was close. I was still incarcerated at that time," the rapper told the site.

"I had to go with my move. I had to go with something that's relevant, and that's going to be effective. Then that's home team."

The Young Money rapper spent six years in prison for sexual battery and extortion before signing a record deal with Lil Wayne's Young Money.

He added, "When I got over there, the love was through the roof."
