Jill Scott Says Zoe Saldana Will Need A Fake Nose To Play Nina Simone

BHR HollyWood Report Jill Scott believes that Zoe Saldana should wear a fake nose for her role as Nina Simone in the upcoming biopic.

In an interview with Hello Beautiful, the ‘Golden’ songstress spoke of her support for the Colombian star's role as Nina Simone pointing out that she will need a fake nose for the part.

"I think there should be some work done like a prosthetic nose would be helpful and definitely some darker makeup," she told the site.

"If Forest Whittaker can become darker in The Last King Of Scotland then I believe Nina should be treated with that respect," she added.

Recently controversy has surrounded The Word actress Zoe being casted as the iconic singer in the upcoming biopic.

Jill adds that while she is in favor of Saldana playing Nina Simone, there will need to be some work to pay a fair homage to the Jazz songstress.

"She was very adamant about her color  about her nose, about her shape and her self and there needs to be some homage paid to that."
