BHR HollyWood Reports Ciara has confessed to being an emotional wreck when she was writing new single ‘Sorry’ while refusing to admit it's about ex-boyfriend 50 Cent.

Talking to host Carrie Keagan on VH1’s Big Morning Buzz, the ‘Ride It’ star admitted that she let go a lot of her emotions when she wrote the single.

“It was inspired by someone that I really loved and cared for. It was my way of saying something to him that I never got to say,” she told the show.

“It was like my letter and just me really crying out. I literally cried writing the record, I literally felt exactly what I was saying. That was the result of that emotion,” Ciara added.

When asked if the single was about the G-Unit rapper after he tweeted, “Ok, I’m Sorry” after its release, the 26-year-old giggled nervously refusing to confirm whether it was about him.

“I was always so protective and very guarded when I first started, and on this record I really was comfortable being vulnerable,” she replied.

“I let go and I didn't care what I was saying."
