She Denies Arguing...Chris Lighty's Wife Opens Up About His Shock Suicide

BHR HollyWood Report Chris Lighty's wife Veronica has opened up for the first time since her husband's tragic suicide.

The mother and wife spoke exclusively to the New York Daily News to address the rumours surrounding the music manager's death - denying his suicide was the result of an argument between the two.

"My husband was too smart of a man. He was a genius. No smart man is going to leave his children for fighting with his wife," she told the publiaction.

"That makes absolutely no sense. We had a passionate relationship. We fought all the time."

Lighty, who was a father to five children, committed suicide last week in his New york apartment - which numerous media sources speculated was spurred on by a fight with his wife and mounting debts.

"My husband was obsessed and adored me," she added. "He was one of the most beautiful people that I have ever met in my life."

The funeral of the Violators founder reportedly took place earlier today where LL Cool J, 50 Cent and Grandmaster Flash gathered to pay their respects.
