Private Investigator Rules Out 'Suicide' Claims On Chris Lighty Death

BHR HollyWood Report
With the investigation surrounding Chris Lighty's death taking all sorts of twists and turns, the private investigation funded by rapper 50 Cent seems to have eliminated any financial motive for Lighty to have taken his own life.

According to Fox 5 news, the investigation into the music producer's death seems to have taken a new direction, as his heartbroken mother is now looking to file a wrongful death lawsuit against whoever may have been responsible.

The lead investigator for the case, Les Levine, told Fox 5 what she thought was the case.
''I guess it comes down to the bottom question: 'Do I believe Chris would kill himself?' The answer is no,'' Levine said.

Levine was hired by Lighty's mother, who was paid for the effort by her son’s long time business associate, 50 Cent, who was moved by her grief.

The New York Medical Examiner ruled that the 44-year-old music mogul died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound in his Riverdale home in August.

However many who knew him, including the stars at his funeral, did not believe Lighty would take his own life.

One suicide theory assumed that Chris was pressurized over financial woes, however 50 Cent discounted that by revealing that the two had agreed to a tour deal which would have netted the music executive about $4 million.

Another theory was that Lighty was in despair over marital problems, after sources stated that he had a turbulent relationship with his wife, Veronica.

The case continues.
