He Strikes A Deal...Chad Johnson Will Not Serve Jail Time For Assaulting Evelyn Lozada

BHR HollyWood Report It has been reported that former NFL wide reciever Chad Johnson will not be going behind bars for headbutting his now ex-wife Evelyn Lozada, after he reached a plea deal with prosecutors.

The sacked Miami Dolphin is set to plead either guilty or no contest to misdemeanour battery in return for avoiding jail time, and has also agreed to a no-contact order that would block him from communicating with Evelyn.

Insiders have reported to TMZ that the former Dancing With The Stars contestant says that he has agreed to be placed on probation and complete extensive anger management counseling.

The pair's divorce was finalised on Wednesday, after he had initially refused to sign the papers.

The 34-year-old was arrested on August 11th after an argument spiralling out of control with Lozada resulted in him headbutting her, just after the Puerto Rican reality TV star confronted him about a condom receipt she'd discovered in the trunk of his car.

In a desperate bid to win back the Basketball Wives star, Johnson went to extreme measures by getting Lozada's face tattooed on his leg, and uploaded a picture of it on Twitter.

A hearing has been scheduled for Friday, during which a judge is expected to finalise the deal and make it official.

It comes after Johnson took full responsibilty for his actions in an interview on Showtime's Inside the NFL, and admitted that he had enrolled in anger management classes.
