'Friday' Actor Clifton Powell Responds To Rape Allegations

BHR HollyWood Report Friday actor Clifton Powell has responded to the rape allegations made against him, denying he has done anything wrong.

Powell, who is best known for playing Pinky in the comedy series, says the claims were actually made a year ago and claims there is no validity in the accusations.

It was reported last week that the actor had been arrested and charged with sexual assault, however, Powell says no arrest was ever made.

"She got mad because I wouldn’t give her any money. I’ve never hurt anyone. I was never arrested. Never," Powell told an Atlanta radio station this week.

"TMZ is reporting this like it happened yesterday. This happened a year ago and people need to know the truth."

In addition to the supposed criminal charges, the accuser Kiyante Myers has filed a lawsuit against Powell for $75,000.
