Ashley Cole 'Blames' Will.I.Am For Putting Cheryl In Danger With Car Accident

BHR HollyWood Report They may have divorced two years ago, but Ashley Cole still cares about his ex-wife Cheryl Cole and was worried after hearing she was involved in a car accident last week.

'Call My Name' singer Cheryl was travelling in the passenger seat with her best friend and manager Will.i.am in Los Angeles earlier this month, when he crashed his vehicle into a parked car. Will.i.am was taken to hospital to receive treatment, while Cheryl was left with her arm in a sling but fortunately was not seriously injured.

Her ex-husband Ashley was told the news shortly after the accident, and was so worried that he offered to fly out to LA to check she was fine.

"It was never going to happen because the football season's started, but he knew it was an offer she'd appreciate," a source told Now! magazine.

"Ash got a call telling him about the accident and the first thing he did was text Cheryl to check she was OK."  I'm Big Blac This Is Your BHR HollyWood Report
