BHR HollyWood Report Things seems to be getting pretty serious with Cheryl Cole and new boyfriend Tre Holloway, after reports have claimed that the Geordie beauty is planning a Christmas trip to the States to meet his family.

After spending time with Cheryl's parents, brother and close pals, dancer Tre is now ready to take the 'Under The Sun' singer to his hometown of Burlington, New Jersey.

The loved-up couple hope to squeeze in the visit when they jet off to New York in December for a romantic weekend break.

The former Girls Aloud singer has reportedly already booked a trip to Newcastle to show her new beau around her hometown, and it seems he is now keen to return the favour.

There have even been rumours that the pair are even discussing living together in Los Angeles, as Cheryl is constantly flying to and from the UK and US, as well as her Girls Aloud touring commitments drawing to a close.

27-year-old Tre has been keen to convince her that she should stay on in LA and share an apartment with him.

According to an insider: ''Cheryl and Tre have been seeing each other for less than a year but they are already very serious about each other.

''They have been spending a lot of time together recently. He is working on her UK tour and so has been at all of the rehearsals.

Added the source, ''But this will be a chance for her to see the America that he grew up in.''
