50 Cent & Fat Joe To Bury Beef For Chris Lighty At BET Hip Hop Awards?

BHR HollyWood Report 50 Cent and Fat Joe could mark a moment in history on Saturday night amid reports that they are to leave their ongoing feud in the past to pay their respects to Chris Lighty at this weekend's BET Hip Hop Awards.

The duo have feuded with each other publicly over the last decade, but if reports are correct, they will be settling their beef to come together in their grief for the loss of their close friend, Chris Lighty, who died last month.

According to Complex, Fiddy and Fat Joe will be sharing the stage together at the award ceremony this month for a taped tribute to Lighty, which is said to also feature Missy Elliott and Busta Rhymes.

BET's Vice President of Communications Tracy McGraw hasn't commented on the report, but when asked if he could deny the claims, McGraw replied: "That's a good question. I think we'll just go with 'Could not confirm.'"

The 2012 BET Hip Hop Awards will be taking place on September 29.
