BHR HollyWood Reports La Toya Jackson has signed up to star in a new reality TV series, which is scheduled to premiere in 2013.
The 56-year-old sibling of late superstar Michael Jackson will front Life with La Toya on TV mogul Oprah Winfrey's OWN network.
La Toya will be followed by cameras that will document every aspect of her day-to-day activities, from dealing with her entertainment business empire, to life with the famous Jackson clan.
Expressing her enthusiasm for the new venture, the actress-singer read in a statement:
"I am so pleased to be working with television legend Oprah Winfrey and to be a part of the OWN family," Jackson said.
"This will be one of the most exciting adventures of my life."
Sheri Salata, the co-president of OWN added that planning for the series has been in the pipeline for months, saying,
"We are delighted to work with La Toya to bring this new show to OWN viewers."
Jackson will executive produce along with Fenton Bailey, Randy Barbato, Jeffré Phillips and Charles Cook.
The Jackson family have been dominating news headlines this past few weeks, due to an ongoing feud in regard to Michael Jackson's will.
La Toya has voiced her concern over the dispute between family members, and just recently, her siblings Janet, Randy, and Rebbie filed a letter demanding the resignation of their late brother's estate executors.
