Whats Up With This???Aaliyah's Ex-Boyfriend Damon Dash To Team Up With Drake On Posthumous Album?

BHR HollyWood Reports Damon Dash, the former lover of late R&B singer Aaliyah, has revealed that if offered the chance, he’d be more than happy to participate with the posthumous album featuring the 22-year-old.

Dash responded to the news of Canadian rapper Drake’s decision to executive produce the LP, nearly 12 years since Aaliyah’s passing, and said he supports the decision to rework material from the ‘Rock the Boat’ singer.

''Anytime I can hear her voice, that's a good thing. And anyone that respected her enough to make a record with her, I appreciate ya'll,''  he told Billboard’s Juice.

"I haven't heard the record, but I appreciate the art of it. I love hearing her voice. I hope it's something that I haven't heard before.''

When asked if he’d be interested in lending a helping hand in assisting with the project if offered, Dash didn’t totally rule out the idea.

''It depends on how he [Drake] wants me to help. I don't know what I could bring to the table there, but yeah I would do it. Anything involving Aaliyah and it's positive and the energy [is] right with it, I would be a part of it. My love for Aaliyah will never change.''

Dash, who enjoyed a short-lived romance with the singer, also discussed the impact she had on him, adding,
''She was one of the best people I ever met. Even with the pain I felt, I would do it all over again.''

It has also been reported that producer Timbaland, and rapper Missy Elliott, long-time friends of the late singer, will not be involved in the LP, after Missy’s publicist stated that her artist was not contacted about the project.  I'm Big Blac this is your BHR HollyWood Report
