Time To Move On!!!!!!Randy Jackson Officially Leaving American Idol!

BHR HollyWood Report Randy Jackson has confirmed that he will no longer be a judge on American Idol, announcing his departure from the show.

There has been a great deal of speculation surrounding Randy's departure from the show, with everyone unsure about whether the singer would in fact be leaving after it was revealed that there will be four seats on the judging panel this season.

Jackson has been a judge on the show since it bagan waaay back in 2002.

However, this is not the last viewers will be seeing of Randy, it has been suggested that the singer and producer will take on a mentoring position, with TMZ reporting:

"Sources connected to Idol tell us... there's some concern among the brass that Jackson is not well-suited for the mentor role... but they feel they need him because he's the glue that helps keep the show together."

The question on everybody's lips right now is who will be joining new judge Mariah Carey on the panel?

Many names have been thrown into the mix, such as P. Diddy and Kanye West, who have both been ruled out. Nicki Minaj is a hot favourite to join the panel, although it's been revealed that Mariah Carey isn't much of a fan!
