Oprah Has That Affect...Rihanna 'Trusted' Oprah Winfrey With Chris Brown Questions During Interview

BHR HollyWood Reports Rihanna apparently chose Oprah Winfrey to discuss with in-depth her relationship with ex-boyfriend Chris Brown, as she knew she would be sensitive towards the subject.

The 24-year-old invited the talk show queen to her home country of Barbados earlier this month to film her forthcoming interview for Oprah's Next Chapter. During the candid chat, Rihanna opened about the brutal assault she suffered at the hands of 23-year-old singer Chris in 2009, and sources say she trusted Oprah would handle the topic with care.

"I guess she just felt it was time to talk…There was no way she would turn down talking to Oprah. So when you ask me why, the answer is because it was Oprah asking," the insider told Hollywood Life.

Apparently, Rihanna doesn't like to be interviewed too often because "reporters will always ask the same questions and it f***s with her."

"She knew Oprah would be sensitive and respectful and who better to open up to than [her?] Her crew knew Oprah wouldn’t make her look or feel stupid…so she let Oprah do the…interview," the source added.
