Mariah Carey Pleads For Lenny Kravitz To Join American Idol On Twitter

BHR HollyWood Reports Mariah Carey has decided to help the producers over at American Idol with their task of finding two new judges, by putting rocker Lenny Kravitz up for the role on Twitter.

Famous names, including Nicki Minaj and Kanye West, have been traded about over the last couple of weeks as to who will sit beside newly-appointed judge Mariah Carey on the panel, following the departure of Jennifer Lopez, Randy Jackson and Steve Tyler.

Pitching one of her close friends for the role, Mariah wrote: "@AmericanIdol What’s going on? need the info!! What about this combo? : ) if we could ever get him to do it!"

It seems Lenny would be more than happy with sitting next to the diva, replying: "@MariahCarey @AmericanIdol Girl, we've known each other since we were teenagers.

 How fund would that be?!"
