Jay-Z Wanted To Keep His Ownership Percentage Of The Brooklyn Nets A Secret

BHR HollyWood Report After investing $1 million in the Brooklyn Nets over nine years ago, Jay-Z has been a major factor in their success and progression in the NBA.

The rapper moved the team from New Jersey to Brooklyn, re-designed their logo and helped promote the team's ventures. He is even set to perform eight sold out shows at the Net’s new arena this September.

So, for all the hard work Jay-Z has put into the Brooklyn Nets, what exactly is he getting back?

Well, although the Watch The Throne rapper had specifically requested the percentage be kept under wraps, it has been reported that the rapper-turned-businessman only owns one fifteenth of a percent of the Brooklyn Nets.

After putting in $1million and doing so much to help the Nets... Jay must be pretty peeved at one fifteenth of a percent.

According to the New York Times, it seems Jay is maximizing his minimal investments - although how he’s managed to do that we’re not entirely sure.

No wonder he wanted to keep details of his percentage a secret! I'm Big Blac this is your BHR HollyWood Report
