Isiah Washington Weighs In On Gabby Douglas' 'Unkempt' Hair

BHR HollyWood Reports Grey's Anatomy actor Isiah Washington has weighed in on the outrageous comments some people have been making about Olympic champion Gabby Douglas' hair.

The 16-year-old was subjected to cruel jibes about the way she wore her hair during the Games last week, saying it looked "unkempt" and as though it hadn't been styled properly. Clearly shocked by the reaction people have had, Isiah says it's ridiculous the public aren't focusing on the fact she became the first African-American to win Olympic Gold.

"Oh man! I don’t even wanna talk about her right now! I don’t wanna talk about that nonsense. I get chill bumps! It just lets me know that their plan is still playing up with their marketing strategy," Isiah told Global Grind.

"It's still working and we have the tools ... We have the blogging and the social media. We have the tools to just stop! Stop saying “them." Stop saying 'they.' Start promoting by any means necessary."

"The woman has to pin her hair down because she’s sweating. If her hair comes out, she gets a deduction. If her hair flies in her face, she could hurt herself and die. This is how serious it is. It has nothing to do with her hair," Isiah continued to explain.

"It has nothing to do with keeping it beautiful while she’s sweating. Can you do it? I can’t do it! Sometimes I get a little paranoid that I don’t think that an African American tweeted that! I think the CIA tweeted it. They know that Negros are going to jump on it, and not shut it down if it stops."

"Stop! She’s the first African-American woman to win a gold. That is ALL we should be talking about, period. Instead, we’re acting like it never happened."  I'm Big Blac this is your BHR HollyWood Report
