He Still Has To Pass The Tests...Cheryl Cole's Mother 'Not Accepted' New Boyfriend Yet

BHR HollyWood Reports Cheryl Cole's mother is wary of the singer's new dancer boyfriend, Tre Holloway, as she fears he may not be around for long, according to reports.

The 'Call My Name' songstress went public with her romance with Tre three weeks ago and appears to be smitten with the handsome dancer. While Cheryl's Girls Aloud bandmates seem to have given Tre the seal of approval, her protective mother is said to be a lot less keen and fears her daughter could get hurt.

"It's early days and she isn't 100% sure of Tre yet. He looks good on Cheryl's arm, but Joan fears he will not be there for her long term," a source told The Sun.

"Any man dating Cheryl should be aware they have to pass the vigorous test and standards set by Joan. She sees herself as more of a protecting force than ever."

"As it stands, Tre has a long way to go before he is accepted."

Tre's own mother also voiced her concerns about the new romance last week, fearing that Cheryl could hurt her son as he hasn't had a serious relationship before.
