Did She Bringing The Hood To Wimbledon! Serena Williams Crip Walks On Tennis Court After Win

BHR HollyWood Reports Serena Williams entertained the audience at Wimbledon yesterday when she performed the Crip Walk after making history with her win at the 2012 London Olympics.

The 29-year-old was ecstatic after becoming the first player ever to win all four Grand Slams and a gold medal in both singles and doubles. Standing on the court with a chorus of applauds and cheers, Serena burst into the Crip Walk, a dance made famous by the Crips gang in the 1970s.

Even her older sister Venus couldn't help but laugh in amazement, watching her sister perform the 'hood' dance in front of the conservative Wimbledon crowd.

"It was just me. I love to dance. I didn’t know what else to do. I was so happy, and next thing I know I started dancing and moving. I didn’t plan it. It just happened," Serena told reporters on her dance moves after the win.

When bemused reports asked her what the dance was called, Serena replied:

"Actually, there is a name. But I don’t know if I - it’s inappropriate. It’s just a dance we do in California."
For those celebrities in the know about the famous dance, Serena was praised on Twitter by her celebrity peers.

"Shot out to Serena williams. C walking at the Olympics Cpt style hahahahah! Go girl," Snoop Dogg wrote.

"Serena Williams becomes the 1st woman to win all four Grand Slams and a gold medal in both singles and doubles and C-walk on Centre Court," the official London Olympics Twitter account wrote.

Even Serena's best friend Kim Kardashian mentioned her moves, adding: "Soooo proud of @serenawilliams!!!!!! Bring home the gold baby! Haha I see u C-Walking! LOVE YOU!"
