Chris Tucker 'Doubtful' About Appearing In New 'Friday' Film

BHR HollyWood Reports Chris Tucker has finally cleared up the much anticipated rumours that he has signed up to star in a new Friday sequel, saying they are still deciding whether to reunite with the rest of the cast.

There has been much speculation, as to whether his much-loved character Smokey would be re-appearing in a sequel to the films with rapper Ice Cube.

However, in an interview with Tom Joyner, the actor appeared hesitant about revealing whether he would be involved.

"You know what? I don’t know. I talked to Ice Cube, because it’s such a big rumour and people get mad if you say you ain’t doing something so I’m real careful. Me and Cube, we’re talking about it and they’re working on a script," Chris said.

"[I] always wanted to keep going next level and all that stuff so I wouldn't be in that box… Back then I was real smart, so I'm trying to get back to that so we'll see what happens but I doubt it."

Perhaps Chris is letting us all down gently, but as we’ve seen from previous Friday sequels, another film without Smokey just won’t do.

Surely he must be tempted? I'm Big Blac this is your BHR HollyWood Report
