Spike Lee Making Final Touches To Michael Jackson Documentary Set To Be Epic...





Three years on since the death of the legendary King Of Pop Michael Jackson, award-winning filmmaker has announced today that he is in the final stages of post-production of the awaited Bad documentary.
Focusing on the release of Michael's ground-breaking six grammy award-winning album,Bad, the documentary made by the legendary director celebrated the 25th anniversary of the iconic album's release.
"With this BAD project I was able to uncover just what made this such a huge, important coming of age in his career and unearth compelling stories surrounding the making of the album, the long awaited follow-up to Thriller – the best selling album of all time - the short films and the tour that may have never seen the light of day," Spike said.
"I’m more than just a huge fan of Michael Jackson, and having the chance to actually know him and work with him, I deeply care about his legacy."
The film which features over 40 interviews with the Thriller singers choreograpghers, friends and musicians influenced by his work will be released in conjunction with the 25th Anniversary of Badwith the release of deluxe CD BAD 25 on September 17th.
The co-executors of Jackson’s estate are happy to have the iconic director who directed both short films for Michael Jackson's "They Don't Care About Us" in 1996 a part of the anniversary project: “Spike Lee’s genius as a storyteller combined with his passion and first-hand appreciation of Michael’s artistry makes him the logical filmmaker to tell the story of BAD”   I'm Big Blac this is your BHR HollyWood Reports
