Most Influential Women... Beyonce, Jennifer Hudson & More Make Essence's Under 35 'Black & Amazing' List

BHR HollyWood Reports Beyonce, Willow Smith and Jennifer Hudson are just a selection of fabulous young celebs who have been selected and named as part of Essence magazine's '35 Under 35: Young, Black & Amazing Women' list.
Singers Alicia Keys, Brandy and Monica have also been singled out as trailblazers, alongside writers, actors, athletes, entrepreneurs and activists too, for making big, bold moves in the world.
Hudson has been applauded for her strength, particularly her strong work ethic despite the tragic murders of her mother, brother and nephew in 2008, whilst 'Fireball' singer Willow Smith has been given the nod for her uniqueness, and not living in the shadows of her celebrity parents, superstar couple Will and Jada Pinkett Smith.
Beyonce has been noted for her impressive resume, which is packed with Grammy awards and Oscar nominations while Alicia Keys has been celebrated for her humanitarian work, which includes her role as ambassador for Keep A Child Alive.
R&B singer Brandy is highlighted for her nearly 20-year music career, and Monica is high on the list for always keeping it real, ''whether it's in her lyrics, her reality show or in an interview about her love life.''
Elle Varner has been titled 'Young, Black & Amazing' for not just her vocal skills, but being multi-talented musically too, playing the piano, flute and guitar, as is Esperanza Spalding, who gets high marks for making her name in the jazz world.  I'm Big Blac This is Your BHR HollyWood Report
The 35 Under 35 honorees are featured in Essence's August issue.
