Hot 97 DJ Funkmaster Flex declared war on Nicki Minaj live onstage at Summer Jam yesterday, humiliating the Young Money superstar for ditching her headlining show at the concert.

Nicki quit the concert on orders from YMCMB boss Lil Wayne, after Hot 97 DJ Peter Rosenberg dismissed her Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded single 'Starships' as 'bullshit' during a stage PA earlier on in the day.

Funk Flex responded by going directly for Young Money's neck during his evening DJ set, telling Minaj and the rest of the label: "I'm dedicated to tearing you down!"

"We aint f**king with commercial rappers no more!," Flex yelled while rocking to Rihanna's Birthday Cake remix. "If you lost the f**king streets, it's your fault!"

The legendary DJ even got at sluggish sales of Nicki's latest album Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded, adding: "If you don't go gold, it's your fault! We gon' show you mama! You think you didn't sell any records this time?"

Flex later hit Twitter promising to drop the full details on Nicki's no-show during his Hot 97 breakfast show later this morning.
