Robin Roberts Pledges To 'Beat' Bone Marrow Disease She's A Fighter!

ABC news anchor Robin Roberts has revealed the shocking news that she has been diagnosed with a rare blood and bone-marrow disorder, and will undergo a bone-marrow transplant.
The 51-year-old announced the news on Good Morning America, as well as confirming the news in a blog post, writing:
"As many of you know, 5 years ago I beat breast cancer. I’ve always been a fighter, and with all of your prayers and support, a winner. Sometimes the treatment for cancer can cause other serious medical problems. Today, I want to let you know that I’ve been diagnosed with MDS or myelodysplastic syndrome. It’s a disease of the blood and bone marrow and was once known as preleukemia."
Not one to give up, Roberts revealed that hopes to overcome the disease, and stated:
"I'm going to beat this. My doctors say it and my faith says it to me," she said.
In the meantime, Robin is doting on the prayers and well wishes of her supporters, adding:
''When I faced breast cancer, your prayers and good wishes sustained me, gave me such hope and played a major role in my recovery. In facing this new challenge, I ask humbly for more of your prayers and love – as I will keep you in my mine and update you regularly on my condition.''
Roberts will recieve a bone marrow transplant from her older sister, and it will most likely require the co-host of G.M.A to be absent from the morning show for a period of time.  I'm Big Blac this is your BHR HollyWood Report
