Rihanna Romance With Sports Star Just 'A Distraction' But Growing Closer To Ex Chris Brown...

Rihanna’s recent dates with a basketball star were just “a distraction,’’ according to sources.

The ‘Where Have You Been’ singer was spotted on numerous outings with New York Knicks player J.R. Smith last month, leading to speculation that the 24-year-old Bajan beauty had fallen hard for the sports star.

However, recently, sources close to the singer have revealed that Rihanna has insisted that she isn’t interested in taking things any further.

Reported a source from Look magazine,

"The dates with J.R. weren't serious.

"It was just a distraction - another wild night where she met the wrong kind of guy and had too much fun."

Reports have also been circulating tha Rihanna has grown close to her ex-boyfriend, singer Chris Brown, after the two were believed to be spending increasing amounts of time in each other’s company, which is reportedly the reason behind Rihanna’s reluctance to commit to another man.

Said a source,

"She is definitely not over Chris. She tries, but then she'll bump into him at an event? and it takes her straight back. I think she clings to this idea that it's fate pushing them together.

"It's always an, 'If with her when she's talking about Chris? She just doesn't make good choices when it comes to men."
