Nas Collaborates With Nelly Furtado On Remi Produced 'Something'

A snippet of the track first emerged in April, but now the full song has surfaced for our listening pleasure, with the Canadian songstress seducing the Salaam Remi beat, whilst Nas keeps it ‘hood on his verse.
Raps Nas,
"Painting pictures, writing my illest rhymes on the easel, ladies on check-in, asking, 'When I'ma see you?'/ Miami penthouse suite crazy with the sea view, still keep it hood like the streets I used to creep through."
Remi builds suspense by striking minor bass chords, which makes ‘Something’ feel far slinkier than the feel-good soul throwbacks that he’s churned out for Amy Winehouse and Melanie Fiona.
‘’I let my voice chill out and ride Salaam Remi’s effortlessly masterful beat and Nas’ classic hip-hop presence,’’ explained Nelly.
'The Spirit Indestructible' is Furtado’s first album since 2009’s Spanish-language 'Mi Plan' and also her second off Timbaland’s label Mosely Music Group. It is due to be released in September. I'm Big Blac This Is your BHR HollyWood Report
