Lauryn Hill Slapped With Tax Evasion Charge

The 'To Zion' singer has reportedly evaded paying taxes for more than three years, despite allegedly earning approximately $1.6 million during this time period.
According to TMZ, the Internal Revenue Service claim most of Lauryn's earnings come from music and movie royalties, stemming from her Grammy award-winning debut solo album The Misedication of Lauryn Hill and films such as Sister Act.
Lauryn is scheduled to appear in court on June 29 in relation to the charges. If convicted, she could face up to three years in prison and a fine of $300,000.  I'm Big Blac this is your BHR HollyWood Report
