The hip-hop mogul lost against federal prosecutors in Brooklyn on all indictments, including cocaine distribution, conspiracy, money laundering, firearms possession and witness tampering.
Rosemond was charged for being at the head of the Rosemond Organization. They allegedly shipped hundreds of kilograms of cocaine on a weekly basis from the West Coast using a variety of courier services.
The drugs were then shipped to New York, and the profits were sent back to the West Coast.
During the sentencing on Tuesday, Rosemond was said to be emotionless.
“I am very disappointed,” Rosemond’s attorney Gerald Shargel said.
“I thought that there were reasons to doubt and we intend to pursue and appeal and take advantage of all legal remedies available to us.
''There were a lot of reasons to doubt the government's case'' he added.
Rosemond has been dealt the life sentence in prison, and date will later be issued.
His clientele included a large number of hip-hop and R&B music makers including Brandy, Gucci Mane, Salt-N-Pepa and Akon.  I'm Big Blac this is your BHR HollyWood Report.
