Calvin Harris Accuses Rita Ora Of Lying About Being Offered Cheryl's 'Call My Name' Why Would She Lie?

DJ and songwriter Calvin Harris has denied claims that Rita Ora was offered Cheryl Cole's new single.
'R.I.P.' singer Rita recently revealed that she was offered Cole's latest hit 'Call My Name' first, but turned it down because she doesn't ''want to go down that dance route that a lot of other popstars are doing.''
However, Harris, who both wrote and produced the single, rubbished the reports that the 21-year-old was offered the track in the first place after coming across the Rita's statement online, and took to Twitter to lay down the facts.
"For the record, Call my name was never given to Rita Ora to sing... she made that up, don't know why," the DJ wrote.
"Read it on Wikipedia just then, its crazy how news stories become facts like that!"
Slightly embarrassing for ROC belle Ora, we bet the 'Hot Right Now' singer is kicking herself now considering how well the track has done.
Cheryl's latest single 'Call My Name' topped the UK chart last night and became the fastest-selling UK single of 2012 so far.
Why would Rita lie about being offered the track? Do you think she was misquoted?  I'm Big Blac this is your BHR HollyWood Report
