Soul Singer Erykah Badu Will Be Hosting This Years Soul Train Awards Show 

BHR Hollywood Reports.............Erykah Badu is coming back to host the 2016 Soul Train Awards!

 Badu caused a stir when she called out Iggy Azalea and made light of her own rapping abilities and effect on rappers during last year's show.

"As you know, I am the queen of neo soul, and people say I have this common effect on rappers: that I make them change gods and wear crochet hats, shoulder pads, so they have banned me from all of the hip-hop awards with a sign saying 'Erykah Badu, leave our rappers alone,’” she joked.

It is unclear what Badu, 45, has planned for this year’s show, held at the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas, but the award ceremonies nomination list features a bevy of music’s hottest stars.

Drake leads the pack with a dozen nominations and Beyoncé follows close behind with eight for her latest album Lemonade.

The 2016 Soul Train Awards will be filmed on November 6 at Orleans Arena in Las Vegas and will air November 27 on Centric and BET.
