Earlier today, Lamar appeared on TBS' pre-game program to talk about music and his own basketball prowess.
The performance streamed online and aired on TBS and TNT right before the UNC vs. Syracuse game, according to Pitchfork.
Before his set, Lamar joined Ernie Johnson, Clark Kellogg, Kenny Smith and Charles Barkley on the Final Four pre-show to talk basketball and getting into the zone to create a successful song.
Rating his own basketball skills as an 8.5 out of 10, the rapper said that “what it takes to win” in the studio is “no distractions. You have to completely zero in. Phones off. Bad energy in the studio, kick them out. You have to be 100% dedicated, period.”
