|Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed|
Anyone who's interested in learning more about recycling and other sustainable practices is welcome to attend.
For example, they get $30 a ton for recycling and have to pay $35 a ton for trash, so recycling is very important.
As a recycling ambassador, you will receive training on recycling and other sustainable practices. Ambassadors educate residents on the CARTLANTA recycling program and encourage others to recycle more.
The workshop, sponsored by the city of Atlanta, the mayor's office, Department of Public Works and the Office of Sustainability aims to educate residents on the city's recycling program, CARTLANTA.
So come out on this Saturday, Aug. 31 from 11:00 a.m.–12:30 p.m. to City Hall, Old Council Chambers, 68 Mitchell St. SW, Atlanta, Ga. 30303. For more information visit, www.CARTLANTA.org. To RSVP email email@example.com or call 404-330-6236.
