D'Angelo To Give First TV Performance In Years At BET Awards Epic!

D'Angelo will be performing at the BET Awards next month marking his first TV appearance in several years.

The Brown Sugar crooner has been slowly making his way back into the music scene over the last few months giving sterling shows in both the US and UK. His highly-anticipated comeback will be perfectly sealed on July 1st when he takes to the stage at the award ceremony in Los Angeles.

"Usually, we love to keep surprises…but this year we want EVERYONE watching when D’Angelo takes the stage at the BET Awards! His talents have been away from us for far too long and we’re excited and honored that he’s decided to make his American re-entry at this year’s BET Awards," BET's President of Music and Programming and Specials said in a statement.

D'Angleo will be performing at the Essence Music Festival later this summer and is currently working on his third studio album.

Also performing at this year's BET Awards will be Chris Brown, Nicki Minaj and the whole of the G.O.O.D. Music crew. Samuel L. Jackson, who will be hosting the night, earlier released a promo clip in which he spoofs Nicki's 'Beez In The Trap.'  I'm Big Blac this is your BHR HollyWood Report
