Timbaland Is Back With A New Mixtape Ft. Unreleased Music From Aaliyah

BHR Hollywood Reports.....Timbaland is back, releasing his new mixtape "King Stays King". 

Timbaland hinted that he drop  previously unreleased music from Aaliyah, Timbaland came through on his promise on Christmas Day.

The tracklist for his mixtape King Stays King includes “Shakin,” a duet he produced featuring the late singer.

Aaliyah 
 After hinting that his latest mixtape would include an unreleased track from the late, great Aaliyah, whom the producer collaborated with on some of her biggest hits, including “Are You That Somebody” and “Try Again,” Timbaland delivered the goods on Christmas when he dropped his mixtape.

The Aaliyah track, “Shakin,” is second on the mixtape, which also features appearances from Young Thug, Migos, Rich Homie Quan, Tink, and 2 Chainz.

Aaliyah
Aaliyah died in a plane crash on Aug. 25, 2001. Throughout her career, she collaborated with Timbaland on many of her most notable tracks, including “Try Again,” “Are You That Somebody?,” and “I Am Music.”

Timbaland was in an interview with sources in 2013 and he stated that, “People always say, ‘I’m going to do a song with Aaliyah.’ It will never work.

Chris Brown got a record, it won’t work. Drake can go do a record with Aaliyah, it ain’t gonna work. Aaliyah music only work with its soulmate, which is me.”

According to reports, King Stays King is meant to be a preview of Timbaland’s Textbook Timbo, his upcoming album dropping in 2016.
