Radio Personality Big Boy Being Sued By Former Radio Station For $5 Million.

BHR Hollywood Reports..........Radio personality Big Boy isn't having a smooth transition to his competitor station the way Angie Martinez did when she left Hot 97.

Emmis Communications is asking a judge to keep him from bailing on the station and demanding $5 million.

Emmis claims it discovered Big Boy 20 years ago when he was working as a bodyguard and turned him into one of the biggest radio personalities on air.

 Big Boy was making $1.45 million a year with bonuses and a car, but his contract was set to end at the end of this month.

 iHeartMedia offered Big Boy $3.5 million with royalties and perks such as access to a private jet.

Under the existing deal, Emmis says it has the right to match a competitor's offer and keep him, which they claim they did. Big Boy, however, decided to leave anyway.
