NFL star Hugh Douglas was arrested and charged with assault and strangling a woman in Hartford, Conn

BHR HollyWood Reports.....NFL star Hugh Douglas was arrested and charged with assault and strangulation after allegedly attacking his girlfriend.

According to the police report obtained on September 22 the former ESPN host grabbed the woman by the neck in the hallway of a Hartford hotel following an argument.

The victim told police that Douglas then picked her up, and as he walked down the hallway towards their room, slammed her against the walls several times.

 That’s when Douglas’ girlfriend of eight-months blacked out because she was not able to breathe.

The former baller denied the allegations, and told police that the bruises were from rough sex.

Douglas posted $50,000 bail and is due in court Oct. 21.

Hugh was recently fired by ESPN after allegedly calling his co-worker, a “house ni**a.”
