College Football Star (Jonnu Smith) May Lose His Chance Of
 Being Drafted To The NFL Because of His Girlfriend !! 

BHR Hollywood Reports..........A college football player(Jonnu Smith) in Florida is reportedly missing the rest of the season after police said his girlfriend doused him with boiling water.

Mary Gaspar, 20, is five months pregnant and was arguing with Smith on October 31 in his dorm room apartment.

 She was upset that Smith was not spending enough time with her during the pregnancy. According to statement’s Gaspar made to police, the couple had been arguing all day.

She told police she was “feeling extremely emotional and stressed” so she decided to get Smith’s attention.

 She went into the kitchen and boiled a pot full of water and then poured it over Smith as he was sitting in a chair.

When Smith did not react quickly she then began beating him with the pot.

Smith was hospitalized with severe burns on his head, neck, back, a shoulder and arm and has since been released. Gaspar was arrested two days after the attack on a charge of felony aggravated battery.

 At a court hearing, she entered a not guilty plea and has been released on a pretrial order. Smith has been seen back on campus but is no longer able to play football because of his injuries.

The severity of Smith’s burns are unclear. He is out for the rest of the season. FIU did not immediately return a request for comment.

Smith is considered one of the team’s best players with 1,936 career receiving yards and 17 career touchdowns, according to sources.
