Henson slammed the rapper on Instagram, accusing him of "#crabsinabarrel syndrome" for his offensive post.

“I don’t know why people would want to cross me. I would stay out of my way, if I wasn’t me because I’m gonna keep winning,” 50 Cent wrote. “I think they do it for attention, then they get more attention then they want. I told you POWER was the show to watch. Now Empire lol forget it.”
Though it was an obvious attempt to celebrate the success of his hit show "Power," Henson was not having it--especially at the expense of her Hollywood friend.

“I don’t know about y’all, but I really like to see other people win,” the Academy Award nominated actress said. “So sad. Use your POWER to unite people and uplift us all. #DoBetter.”
Taraji, who will soon be celebrating her 45th birthday, ended her response by taking a jab at the fact that Power, in its third season, doesn’t have any Emmys and Empire has snagged several nominations.
“I am proud of your accomplishments black man,” Henson posted. “Maybe your karma is blocking your blessings. #Emmys”
