BHR Hollywood Reports........42 people were injured when a railing collapsed at a Snoop Dogg and Wiz Khalifa concert earlier this month.

The AP reports that 17 of the injured concertgoers have filed a lawsuit against Snoop, Wiz, and the New Jersey venue, claiming that they didn't take the necessary precautions to ensure the safety of the fans.

According to the suit, Snoop and Wiz yelled, "Everybody in the mother******* grass bring your ass down here" ... right before the collapse. The plaintiffs say that call to action caused the stampede which lead to the collapse.

Three of the plaintiffs were employees at the venue, BB&T Pavilion. Live Nation, which owns the venue, is also named as a defendant in the lawsuit.

They say the company had made shoddy repairs on the railing in the last year.

After the collapse, people fell roughly 10 feet onto the concrete below, and the show ended abruptly.

A partition adjoining the secondary stage collapsed, causing many to fall 10 feet to the ground below. Injuries included broken bones, torn ligaments and tendons, loss of consciousness and emotional trauma. One plaintiff suffered a fractured spine.

"I can tell you there is no doubt there was a crowd surge based upon the setup of the lawn with no chairs and no aisles, lack of security ... and then the artists telling people to come forward," attorney Robert J. Mongeluzzi said. "That's the setup, and that's the failure."
