BHR Hollywood Reports................The 6 God and Rap God put the beef rumors to rest and joined forces for a performance at Joe Louis Arena in Em’s hometown during Drake’s “Summer Sixteen Tour.”

“Detroit, make some noise for the greatest rapper to ever get on the motherf--king microphone. He goes by the name of Eminem,” the Toronto native MC told the surprised crowd, who cheered with excitement. “Legendary s--t tonight.”

The “Lose Yourself” songwriter, whose hails from Detroit, responded, “It’s an honor to share the stage with this man right here.”

After the show, the duo posted a photo together on their respective Instagram accounts. Drake captioned the backstage shot: “SHARED THE STAGE WITH THE GOAT FOR DETROIT. DONE THE HYPE.”

The 6 God and Slim Shady’s surprise performance comes less than two weeks after Hot 97 radio host Ebro Darden claimed Eminem was preparing a dis track against Drake.

The “One Dance” crooner, however, was seemingly unfazed by Darden’s claims. The radio personality, who says he had a private conversation with Drake, told listeners on August 3, “[Drake] laughed. He was like, ‘That’s not gonna happen. He’d never do that, and if he did, I’ve got something for him too.’”

Of course, the hype he’s referring to is the feud that was rumored to be popping off between them.

Earlier this month, Hot 97/Beats 1 host Ebro Darden claimed Drizzy vowed to retaliate if Shady ever dissed him first. At the time, some believed Slim would defend the 6 God’s latest foe, Joe Budden. Darden would later claim he was joking, but it was enough to set speculation ablaze.

Drake also denied these claims while touring New York, saying that the local radio station was spreading “lies” about him.

Not one to shy away from humor, Eminem also joked about the beef talk in a post on Instagram. “Views from The Joe,” he wrote, before welcoming Drake to his hometown. “#WelcometoDetroit.”
