Teyana Taylor Is Back With New Music Video "Undercover"

BHR Hollywood Reports............Singer Teyana Taylor recently dropped visuals for her new song, “Undercover.”

Teyana Taylor takes fans back to the ’90s yet again.

Much like the song itself, the Elijah Steen-directed clip pays homage to her favorite era. While the track pulls from Bell Biv DeVoe’s “Poison,” its visual takes inspiration from ’90s sitcoms, music videos, and fashion, with nods to Janet Jackson, vintage NBA gear, and Cross Colours galore.

“Undercover,” directed by Elijah Steen, is a true ode to the singer’s favorite era. There’s clear inspiration from a number of sitcoms, trends and dances.

She channels Rosie Perez’s fierce moves from the opening scene of Do The Right Thing.  All of her passion comes out as she sings about loving someone who is currently dealing with someone else.

Intensity grows with every telling line, yet the energy shown onscreen gives “Undercover” a fun edge.

Teyana unleashed “Touch Me” last month. The seductive visual put the singer’s post-baby body on full display. It’s the second visual off of The Cassette Tape 1994. The 5-track project features production from Kanye West, Da Internz, and J.R. Rotem.
