Rapper Diddy Will Not Be Facing Charges For A Previous Fight

BHR Hollywood Reports..........Sean "Diddy" Combs most likely will not face charges in connection with an altercation with a UCLA football coach, an official with the Los Angeles City Attorney's Office said Wednesday.

The L.A. City Attorney has decided not to file misdemeanor charges against. Diddy.

An informal office hearing will be held on Oct. 15 and Diddy and his lawyer, Mark Geragos, will have to attend alongside others involved in the fight.

Reportedly, the hearing officer could ask Diddy to attend anger management courses of Diddy could just receive a warning not to lose his temper again.

It's unlikely that charges will be filed," Wilcox toldReports. But the ultimate decision will rest with cooperation from Combs.

Attorney Mark Geragos, who is representing Combs, had maintained his client should not be charged and said he was pleased with the decision by the city attorney.

"I'm gratified that yet another prosecutor has examined the evidence and the facts and decided it is not a criminal case," Geragos said, "which is what we said from the get go."

In June, Combs was arrested on suspicion of deadly weapon, battery and making terrorist threats after the June 22 altercation with a Kettel Belt.

 He posted bail and was released from jail hours after he was taken into custody.

Combs' son, Justin, is a defensive back with the UCLA Bruins.
