Before I was married I kissed a lot of frogs and ogres,” the R&B diva quipped.
Tamar’s last album Love And War was a surprise hit — debuting at number two on the Billboard 200 in 2013.
That made her one of the first reality TV stars to successfully leverage their fame into a successful music career.
In an interview with Reports, she also opened up about performing with K. Michelle at the BET Awards. “BET did put us together,” she said. “It wasn’t awkward—well, yes it was a little bit at first.
She sang, I sang, we went home. We didn’t go out to dinner, we didn’t have drinks. It’s just no beef.”
She also talked about last year’s spat with Chris Brown.
“I felt like it was unfair because I’ve never had a beef with him.
I was actually defending him. And he got upset with me. I love Chris Brown—always have, always will.”
