“Obey Your Verse” Drink Commerical
BHR Hollywood Reports.......OVO meets God’s Son in Sprite’s commercial for the “Obey Your Verse” Lyrical Collection, which aired during Sunday’s NBA Finals pre-game coverage.

 In the 30-second spot, Drake and Nas meet up at backstage at a joint concert presented by the soft drink maker.

While Drake’s “0 to 100″ plays in the background, the rappers hit the stage as fans go wild.

 Drake is one of four rappers whose lyrics will be featured on a limited edition run of Sprite cans this summer.

Released as part of the soda brand's "Obey Your Verse" lyrical collection, famous lyrics from his songs, as well as others by Nas, Notorious B.I.G., and Rakim will appear on individual cans, 20-ounce bottles, and multipacks.

This isn't Sprite's first foray into rap's deep cuts: Their 2014 commercial with the Canadian-American rapper was released to much fanfare, and Nas has been a longtime partner of the brand.

 In a press release announcing the partnership, Nas highlighted the move's artistic merit: "Legacy means everything to me.

When I wrote these lyrics, I never imagined my fans would someday have the opportunity to enjoy a can of Sprite and experience my art in a totally original way."
