The fight occurred after the annual Iron Dog snowmobile race during a celebratory party. According to the Anchorage Police Department there was a fight and the Palin’s were in attendance.
Police communications director Jennifer Castro stated “just before midnight Anchorage police responded to a report of a verbal and physical altercation taking place between multiple subjects. At the time of the incident, none of the involved parties will press charges and no arrests were made.
However, the case is still an active investigation and is being reviewed by the police department And the Municipal Prosecutor’s Office. Alcohol was believed to have been a factor in the incident. Some of the Palin family members were in attendance.”
After law enforcement authorities arrived and statements were taken, Palin and her family left the party. At this time there is no statement from Sarah Palin or family members regarding the incident.
