The report says Jason McWilliams, 25, turned himself into the Montgomery Police Department late Sunday evening.
McWilliams is charged with two counts of capital murder and is being held without bond.
The shooting occurred at the Centennial Hill Bar and Grill, located in the 900 block of Highland Avenue, around 1 a.m. on Saturday.
Johnson, 21, was pronounced dead at the scene while Thomas, 22, was transported to Baptist Medical Center South, where he later died. Six additional victims also suffered gunshot wounds and were taken to local hospitals for treatment.

While the circumstances surrounding the shooting were initially unknown, investigators believe it stemmed from an ongoing dispute between McWilliams and Thomas.
