Rihanna donates nearly $2 million to Her Home Town Barbados hospital in memory of her grandmother
BHR HollyWood Reports the season for giving and no other artist seems to be in more of a giving mood the pop queen Rihanna, who recently gave nearly $2 million of her giant fortune to a Barbadian hospital in honor of her late grandmother, Clara “Gran Gran Dolly” Brathwaite, who lost her battle with cancer in June.

“This was my way of giving back to Barbados, in a form of philanthropy, by assisting the QEH in its continued modernization program,” said Rihanna in a statement to E! “I believe that this will have a huge impact on the people of Barbados. This was all done to save lives or at least extend them.”
Such a charitable offering is definitely a true example of what it means to give back during the holiday season and we commend Rihanna for not only giving back to her country, but for helping to save the lives of countless people.
